I'm only writing this because I have about an hour to kill in between my classes. I just got out of Sociology (we had a test and I left as soon as I finished) and I'm waiting around for Anthropology to start. Anthropology is a real...ack...and that's all I'm going to say...ack. I had to write four essays over this weekend on such topics as ethnocentrism, cultural relativism, enculturation, diffusion, acculturation, assimilation, syncretism, diversification, political mobilization, identity politics, immigration, homogenization, globalization and pluralism...just to name a few. You want to know the sad part? I doubt I can even define half of those for you, even after spending countless hours trying to bs each essay so that it was at least three pages long. Can I have a pity party please!?!? I think I deserve it. Heh...just kidding. I hate pity, that is why I have those parties, to mock pitty for the stupid thing that it is.
Well, we were supposed to get Verizon DSL on the 22nd, but my uncle said that they delayed it until the 23rd. So then he told me that he didn't set it up because I left the computer on (that was on the 23rd). And then, the 24th rolls around and he said he didn't hook it up because I didn't take the clothes of the clothes line like he asked (what does that have to do with the computer may I ask?). So Yesterday (the 25th) he finally gets around to drilling a hole in the back of the computer cabinet...yet still...no DSL. You want to know what I found highly ironic? Ok heres the story:
I had those anthropology essays on the computer and I had to finish the last one up and then print them all out. So when I got back from Jeff's last night I saw that the computer was completely dismantled(this was 10:30 at night mind you). So I get all upset because I had to finish my essays and he gets mad at me for "procrastinating" so he says. Well...I only learn from the best...look at you Mr. Putting in the DSL three days after its enabled...at 10:30 at night no less. Of course I didnt say anything lest he not put it in all together...yet the DSL still isnt in. He just pulled the computer cabinet out, cut it open, and put it back. For what? I do not know. But it has nothing to do with the DSL.
Ok, next subject. Hmmm...I really don't know what else to talk about. Life is mediocre at this point, not bad, not too great...just, normal. There are great things to balance out the really horrible, ya know? Church is still my pit of loneliness. School is still my busting headache...home is still my coffin...and homecoming is my new motivation to try and actually get my ass in shape. Yea, I'm really going to do stuff today...like say, RUN! Eh heh...My DDR is broken and I dont know how to fix it, so I have no other choice but to give into Jeff and run...damn him. Today he's going to teach me how to jump...I...suppose it could be interesting...perhaps. Ok well, not much more for me to say...I think I'll just go to fanfiction for the remainder of my time.
